About Zuzana Perraton
Zuzana has over 18 years of clinical experience in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has worked with athletes in local, state and national level teams. She has post-graduate qualifications in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and has worked within university research groups and as a university educator. Her previous appointments include roles with the Australian Paralympic ski team, the Commonwealth games and North Melbourne football club.
Zuzana has a special interest in treating hip and groin injuries in athletes. She also works within the Good Living Arthritis Denmark (GLA:D) team at La Trobe University helping to train physiotherapists and help run GLAD classes for hip and knee osteoarthritis.
Zuzana is a National Health and Medical Research Council funded PhD candidate at the La Trobe Sport and Exercise Medicine Research Centre, La Trobe University, Australia. Her PhD is investigating MRI findings in active young adults hip and groin pain and exploring prospective associations with quality of life and strength measures. Zuzana has published > 20 peer-reviewed journal articles in the areas of groin, hip and knee pain and contributed to leading international sports medicine publications such as Brukner and Khan's Clinical Sports Medicine.
