Sport and Exercise Medicine Registrar
Steven is a dedicated sports and exercise medicine registrar and Ph.D. candidate who brings a wealth of expertise to his field.
After successfully completing his medical training at Deakin University, he honed his skills as a physician trainee at St. Vincent's Hospital. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Steven plays a pivotal role in elite AFL pathway development programs, serving as the head doctor for the Oakleigh Chargers.
Steven holds a Master's in Biomedical Science from Melbourne University and The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, where his research focused on the chronic neurological effects of concussion.
Currently, his primary research during his Ph.D. centers on biomarkers of sports-related concussion.
His notable contributions to this field are evident through multiple publications and presentations, including active participation in the Australian Neurotrauma Symposium.
